The Announcement Preset for Company News

Funding rounds, product launches, and milestones deserve more than a text post. The Announcement preset creates bold, celebratory visuals that match the moment.

You just closed your Series B. Or launched in three new markets. Or hit a milestone that the whole team worked 18 months to reach. And the way you announce it to the world is… a LinkedIn text post with a stock photo of people high-fiving?

Big moments deserve big visuals. The kind that stop the scroll, communicate the headline instantly, and make your announcement look as significant as it actually is.

How to Use the Announcement Preset

The Announcement Content Type creates bold, celebratory visuals designed for company news. You fill in three fields:

  1. Headline: “We Just Raised $25M in Series B”
  2. Key Details: “Led by Sequoia Capital. Expanding to 3 new markets in Europe and Asia. 200% team growth planned.”
  3. Additional notes: “Modern dark charcoal background with soft organic mesh gradient blobs in muted violet, deep teal, and warm indigo. Scattered gold and silver metallic confetti.”

The notes field is where you control the visual style. In this case, we went for a modern mesh gradient look with metallic confetti — the kind of design you’d see on a Linear or Stripe announcement.

What Announcements Work Best

This preset handles any moment worth sharing:

  • Funding rounds: Series A, B, C — make the number and the lead investor impossible to miss
  • Product launches: New feature, new product line, major release
  • Milestones: 10,000 customers, first $1M in revenue, 5-year anniversary
  • Expansion: New offices, new markets, new partnerships
  • Hiring: “We’re hiring” campaigns that look polished and intentional

Why This Matters

  • First Impressions on LinkedIn: Your announcement post competes with thousands of others in the feed. A professional graphic increases engagement by 3x compared to text-only posts.
  • Press and Media: Journalists are more likely to cover and share your news when it comes with a ready-made visual they can embed.
  • Internal Morale: Post the same announcement graphic in Slack and it feels like a celebration, not just another message.

Announce Like You Mean It
